What are Limited Edition Photographs?
Limited Edition images are registered and come
with a Certificate of Authenticity, which is your guarantee of
exclusivity. Each image is titled, signed and numbered by
Jim Guthrie. No writing of any kind will be placed on
the image itself as to not distract from the image.
The purchase price of a Jim Guthrie photograph increases as
the images are sold, simply because of supply and demand.
Once the last image within that edition is sold, an image
can only be purchased from the original purchaser.
Name and address information is maintained but will only be
released with the authorization of the original purchaser.
Although starting prices are very reasonable, these stunning
images are valuable investments. These classic panoramic images
are available in a range of sizes to suit individual preferences.
We are able to ship photographs directly to you anywhere in
the world.
Additional Information
The Artist's Personal Guarantee
"Due to the clarity size of the negative (2 1/4" x 6 3/4"), and
the professional quality of all the components, I
guarantee that you will be more
than satisfied with your photograph. If, however, you are not
satisfied for some reason, I will either allow you to exchange
an image for another size or scene, or refund you the purchase
price of the image provided it is returned in good condition."
A Limited Edition photograph is one that is signed and numbered
by the artist. Once the last image in the series is sold
(for the size offered), there will be no additional images
available. Some image sizes are limited to only 75 pieces.
Each image is either printed on Ilfochrome Classic paper
(previously known as Cibachrome) or Fuji's Crystal Archive
Lightjet paper; each of which has the highest archival
permanence of any color photographic enlargement material
available.
All photographic images will be shipped with a certificate
of authenticity signed by the artist. Each print number
is recorded with the name of the purchaser upon payment. If the
recipient is a person other than the purchaser (such as
an image being given as a gift), the artist will record the
recipient's name as the owner if their name is provided.
