P269H – Sunset – The Twelve Apostles at Dusk, Australia
Here's an iconic photo of a spectacular section of the Great Ocean Road, south of Melbourne, Australia. Not long after I photographed this image, the large rock in the foreground collapsed into a pile of smaller rocks. Although still an amazing sight, it simply does not have the same appeal. I'm glad I obtained the photo before the collapse. I have two photographs of this location taken during different sunsets. This one was taken during high winds, which caused a lot of mist in the air. Add the low angle of the sun and I was able to get some deep orange color throughout the scene. Please check the other one out.
