P255V – Full Moon Illumination – Half Dome, Yosemite National Park, CA
Here's an interesting photo from a difficult location to reach. Although it appears to be photographed during the day, it's actually a 7 hour nighttime exposure lit by a full moon. Several of the brighter stars can be seen streaking across the sky during the exposure.
When this image is enlarged beyond 5 feet high, you can actually see streaks from the headlights of rock climbers as they climb the vertical face during the night. It was interesting to watch them progress during the night.
