P244H – Seattle Skyline on Sept. 11, 2001 – Seattle, WA

Taken at sunset on September 11th, 2001, I returned to the top of a building on Queen Anne to capture the half mast U.S. flag on top of the Space Needle. I had performed a sunset here the previous night (image can also be seen on my website). The city was so quite. Somber people, only minimal cars, but primarily due to the fact that there were no flying planes. It was the one time I wouldn’t have minded waiting for an airline con trail to vaporize or blow out of the way.
